SVGTO & GTOAA
We are the South Central Regional Chapter of the GTO Association America in
Pennsylvania. We promote SVGTO and the GTOAA through our literature, venues we
participate in, and talking with other enthusiasts. The promotion of the GTOAA
is prominently displayed on our website, through the GTOAA decals on many of our
member’s cars, and in each newsletter published. Each new prospective member is
briefed on the advantages of the club being affiliated with the GTOAA, as well
as they as a GTOAA member. We are mandated by the GTOAA to maintain a minimum
percentage of our club membership to be chartered with them and are always
looking at ways to increase our club’s member percentage to the national
organization. Because of our affiliation with the GTOAA, SVGTO receives national
recognition, has connections to national events with other GTO enthusiasts
throughout the country, are able to provide for our membership, contacts to the
biggest names in Pontiac, and are able to offer our members the very best venues
to participate in.
Why should you join the GTOAA?
-
Individual members
have access to technical resources on their GTO from people affiliated with
the GTO.
-
A subscription to
their monthly magazine “The Legend,”
-
Members are kept up
to date on information on their cars, and historical information on the GTO
itself.
-
Members get great
deals with the GTOAA’s participating vendors, and advertisers as well as
camaraderie with other Pontiac GTO owners.
-
GTOAA members are
invited to the annual Invitational meet held every year, as well as other
GTOAA sanctioned events.
With SVGTO being an affiliated chapter, we receive 3 million dollar liability
insurance for every venue we participate in. What this does is protect our
members against any liability claims that should arise in the event of a
situation that would involve your car in the event of a liability claim.
Annual dues to the National Organization are 35.00.
